Invitation for the Appreciation Ceremony and Exhibition

Librarian and library staff cordially invite you to join us for the Appreciation Ceremony honouring the bequest of Emeritus Professor Gananath Obeyesekere and Professor Ranjini Obeyesekere scheduled to be held on 09 th August 2023, 10.15 AM – 12.30 PM, at the Library Auditorium. This ceremony will be a token gesture of gratitude to an eminent and distinguished scholar, Professor Gananath Obeyesekere, an Emeritus Professor of Anthropology, Princeton University, USA who has generously gifted his precious ex-library collection to the library with the fullest support and blessings of his beloved wife, Professor Ranjini Obeyesekere. An exhibition of the Donated Books will be held from 10.45 AM to 4.00 PM at the Art Gallery, New Library Building.
